I’ve begun the long road of creating my own tarot deck, inspired by the Alice books of Lewis Carroll. I’m calling it Tarot Under Oxford.

The Major Arcana are now complete, with the Minor Arcana underway.

Earlier this spring, I gave a lecture through the Nashville Jung Circle exploring why these two worlds fit so naturally together. Both the Alice stories and the tarot can be read as maps of individuation, a descent into strangeness that ultimately leads toward a more embodied and authentic Self.
